A note on Aizen's current status: At the moment, Aizen is behaving in a manner more akin to his Nice Guy persona in order to avoid giving his game away. His motives may not be clear, but I'm trying to make sure he has a reason for everything he does.

If anything seems off though - either in his Nice Guy public persona or how he talks to people in private, please let me know. This is my first time playing Aizen; I can use all the help in the world.

I hear your memories have been tampered with, as well. That's quite unfortunate. I imagine the Task Force won't be receiving a full report on what occurred, but perhaps one or two of you would be inclined to inform us of anything you can recall. Indistinct though it might be, I'm sure it would be a considerable help.

Regardless, it does seem that you've completed the mission; everything's returned to relative normalcy.

It'd seem that the environment has undergone considerable change. I fear I may've been absent for the worst of it, though I'm quite willing to continue from where I left.

While the weather is well, peace rarely lasts too long.

[A quiet, metallic thumping - a few short drums and it ends. The creak of material under tension. There's something agitated about it, slightly off about it. Maybe it's the acoustic of the building he's in, or just the rhythmless repetition of sound.]

Well. It's certainly been an eventful few weeks, though I can't help but feel that we're beginning to adjust.

... It seems that I owe some apologies, at that; I hardly know what came over me within recent days. I wasn't at all myself.

I hope nobody has suffered as a result of my actions. Naturally, I've withdrawn from my position at the storage. While I still have certain goals that, of course, I can hardly ignore, I expect that this particular response to those needs will never happen again. It's my hope that it will be taken for what it was: the environment's malevolent influence finding a mouthpiece in all of us.

And I owe you a personal apology especially, Commodore. I wonder if, given the influence we were all under at the time, we can't reconcile our differences?

[A long silence, broken by the odd smattering of static. There's the creak of fabric being pulled tight, and after a minute, Aizen can be heard murmuring something inaudible. Then, louder, and clearly directed at the device:]

Would this be considered the absolute collapse of the Gotei 13? It's a shame I can't take responsibility for it, but I'll be sure to say a few words when they're put in the ground.

I must bring it to your attention that the food store is no longer open as a general convenience to all citizens of Nuadoria. Any attempt to stop the new regulation on food distribution will, of course, be met with equal and greater force. While I can't personally be held accountable for the actions of my subordinates, I personally have no intention of causing any harm to anyone, unless the decision is forced upon me.

Lastly, I do presently have the healer shinigami in my custody; he is, of course, unharmed.

[The soft, metallic hiss of his zanpakutou being slowly drawn from its sheath is very much audible in the background. With the lack of other sounds, it's likely he's standing still.]

This is unexpectedly poor luck we're having. In addition to the flood and the attacks, first in command of the Task Force is seemingly absent, and the prisoner we were keeping has managed to break out from the brig. The locks have all been damaged quite purposefully.

Is there any word on Hitsugaya's condition, and are there any other residents noted to be missing?

I think it best we organise a search party - two, perhaps. One to seek out people in need of assistance, and another to locate and neutralise the threat of the sharks.

How many hands are available and willing for either purpose?
